Overview

Waitr | Bitesquad is an app-based restaurant platform that connects restaurants and guests. Guests scroll restaurant menus, customize an order, modify any item, add people to a group order, split the check, choose delivery or carryout, and with the push of a button, have an order in their hands. The company was challenged with managing multiple code bases across several apps and ensuring security compliance while migrating to a new unified architecture.

Approach

The first step was an evaluation of the existing architecture to determine the migration strategy for core services across their various apps. We then coordinated with compliance experts to determine critical security gaps that would need to be implemented before the new system migration. Lastly, we worked with the client’s dev team to define and implement the new Google food ordering Process.
